High-Performance Facilities, Constant Monitoring, Selection and Traceability

The Cave du Marmandais boasts modern facilities with pneumatic presses, vinification vats and irreproachable quality control!
It has kept its two production plants, each with their own specialities.
The Beaupuy site offers the growers of the area a high-performance winery which receives the grapes and produces the wines of the right bank. Close to the vines, the winery guarantees that the different terroirs can be identified and their specific qualities respected.
The site also handles maturing in barrels. Its cellars house the four thousand barrels needed to mature the prestige Cuvées.

The Cocumont site impresses by its size and technology, and handles production of the wines from the left bank. Producing red as well as rosé and white wines, it is an indispensable link in the quality policy of the company.
The site houses the bottling, storage, ageing and delivery facilities, combining tradition and modernity and handling a large number of packaging formats: BIB©, screw caps, small containers...

Dedicated People

The ORIGINE Marmandais Company has 295 winegrower members and 60 salaried employees. All are very much aware of, and play an active role in the quality procedures of the firm.
The members are overwhelmingly committed to Agriconfiance® certification. This NF V 01 005 quality standard is a guarantee of traceability and sustainable agriculture. Through three types of contracts, Quality Charter, Brands & Châteaux and Quality A, 201 members have signed up to this quality policy, representing a surface area of 1,723 ha, or 98% of the surface area of the Cave du Marmandais. Thanks to this determined approach, the company can ensure quality monitoring and traceability of all its production. Two vine-growing technicians guide the members on this quality programme.
Not to be outdone, the Origine Marmandais company has had its ISO 9001 Version 2000 certification renewed for all its wine production processes: reception of the harvest, winemaking, maturing, bottling, sales and deliveries at both the Beaupuy and Cocumont sites.
